BOSTON ROCK MAGAZINE
A young, ambitious staff published Boston Rock magazine out of a third floor, walk up apartment. They’d send out the copy to be typeset after work hours when it was less expensive. We designed and pasted up on a rough wood floor with spray mount, press type, and rubylith from midnite until 3am. I was just starting out then. My inspirations were Neville Brody and M&Co., Tibor Kalman.
