ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE
Rolling Stone was my dream job. I had studied its pages for design ideas and marveled at the wonderful photography and illustration. When they phoned a year after interviewing me, I accepted the job offer. Admittedly, I wasn’t nearly as thrilled with the prospect as I had been the year before. I was torn between working with Clay Felker and Walter Bernard and accepting a position at Rolling Stone. A year in, I realized that I simply wasn’t interested in the subject matter–a critical turning point in my design career.
