THE NEW YORK TIMES BROADSHEET ART DIRECTION AND DESIGN
After a few editorial design positions in NYC, I began to think hard about where I would be most happy doing editorial design. The New York Times was my answer. I loved the journalistic aspect, the hard work, the long hours, and the great product. I knew I was doing more than creating beautiful layouts with great photography and illustration–I was helping to report the news. The editors were smart and savvy, as was the entire staff. I stayed ten years.
